(Moran), a leading higher education management and technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Vedra to Practice Lead – Cybersecurity & Privacy. In this role, Adam will lead the practice’s efforts to build tailored IT security & compliance programs to handle our client’s most pressing institutional risks in research and higher education.
Higher education institutions are both high-value and uniquely vulnerable targets for malicious actors thanks to their unique convergence of desirable data (PII, financial records, research files, etc.) and tradition of decentralized and open IT environments, which make uniform security measures difficult to implement and enforce.
