David Houle, ERP / SIS Transformation Practice Lead at Moran, and Brad Weaver, Director of IT Services at Wabash College, recently gave an EDUCAUSE webinar focused on ERP transformation readiness to help those institutions that are considering replacing or improving their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s), including Student, Human Resources, and Finance/Budget. Dave and Brad identified key areas to assess, lessons learned from a recent readiness effort at Wabash, and ways to prepare for this major transition.
Some of the key readiness areas participants discussed included budget planning, business process review, change management, data management, governance and leadership, and resources and staffing.
